![]() ![]() Now I press auto resolve, and it says I lost about 400 men and got owned. The odds are about 2-1 or 3-1 in my favour. ![]() To clear it up a bit, I'll give an example: I have a general unit and ~7 units of low tier phalangites vs a captain with a unit of desert spears and 2 units of (melee) chariots. ![]() Chariots of all kinds (including egyptian general bodyguards) pretty much all pre-marian roman inf unit hastati and above (the marian units are prolly the same, havent tested with them tho) It somewhat makes sense, but on the other hand its REALLY annoying having to fight every little stupid battle manually which takes lots and lots of time =/ī) Why are some units majorly favoured in auto resolve? I've noticed that recently: a few civs have units that pretty much auto-win every auto resolve battle for some reason. when you're playing on easy campaign mode, you'll win pretty much every battle unless the odds are like 1-2 or more in your enemys favour, whereas in hard and vh youll often enough lose (hence I save all the time) even if the odds are like 3-1 for you lol. ![]() However, here are a few things I wonder about:Ī) Why does your chance on winning get less in auto resolve the harder the difficulty is? E.g. I'm sure all of you have used that feature before, as it saves time and can be helpful. ![]()
